Erin & Ben’s Classic Fall Wedding
I’m trowing it back to last fall one more time here…must be my excitement for all the upcoming fall weddings!
I’ll keep the rambling brief but I think you’re going to love these images. First, because Erin’s dress is stunning(!) and so classic. The perfect, timeless, married-in-a-church gown! I think I did every photo in the set in black and white because it just seemed right. (Sometimes that worries people and they ask if I shoot everything in black and white! No worries – everything is shot in color, I just have a deep love for black and white and depending on my mood I fail to balance color and black and white images when blogging!) But beyond the dress, you’ll see quickly that Erin and Ben are just the best kind of people. And they were so, so happy on their wedding day! The smiles are contagious in this one…enjoy! And Happy First Anniversary to these two!
Seeing her dad for the first time…
Church time! Always such a treat for me to see what Zac captures in the back as the ceremony begins!
Erin’s Grandpa runs a tavern in Streator and as per family tradition, everyone headed there between the ceremony and reception. When she asked if we could come take some candid shots there I could barely contain myself! The opportunity for documentary style work on a wedding day is always a treat, but in a location that’s person and special to the family – that’s a real treat!
After we wrapped up at the tavern we headed to the edge of town for some country style wedding portraits. Such a beautiful day and a fun group
Okay one more of those contagious smiles…
