Fall Engagement Photos – St. Louis – Kate & Brian
Fall engagement photos…classic and a common request for good reason! I love shooting fall engagement photos in St. Louis because I can never really predict what Mother Nature will have planned. This fall we went from a 90 degree wedding to an engagement session that left me wishing for gloves inside the same week. Same goes for those pretty fall colors. I never know if they’re coming the first week of October or mid-November. But the one thing I can count on is dreamy fall light! That always shows up right on time…
These images are exactly what we aim for with engagement sessions! The wedding day gives us plenty of time to capture classic portraits and to use poses the showcase those beautiful dresses and formal wear. The engagement session is all about the snuggle, the squeeze, the big laugh and the real smile! (Though that tends to be how I feel about the wedding photos too…)
