Favorite Fifteen: Families 2012
Back when it was January I thought seriously, long and hard, for 15 seconds, about compiling “Best of ” posts from throughout the year. Trouble was, it was January. Eww. Not exactly the height of motivation for me. And besides, blog posts full of sunshine and green grass would have just depressed all of us. So for the good of the community, I waited until May. Works for me because I consider May to be the start of “photo season”.
So to celebrate the beginning of this most lovely season I’m going to be showcasing my Favorite Fifteen in several categories. It’s gonna be a real you-know-what to narrow them down. So I set some rules for myself. Mainly that I am selecting my favorite images in each category…not necessarily the best or the most unique or the most whatever…just my favorite.
For the families category I decided the images had to include at least one child and one adult to qualify. Sibling images and images of adorable children taken during a family session were banished to the Children’s post!
Without further ado, my Favorite Fifteen: Families Edition! In no particular order…

Family photos are not just for families with little kids! Even if your family is made up of college-age boys who have a million better things to do than take photos with their parents – do it anyway! You’ll be glad you did and eventually, so will they!
