Kristen & Matt – Edwarsdville Wedding Photography

January 15, 2013

Let’s flash back to July – that hot, humid time of year that features a few of my favorite things – namely the sun and color. Excellent examples of both in Kristen and Matt’s wedding photos…

Okay well I suppose there is no color in the first several images because I have an addiction to black and white images. I talked myself into some variety as I worked my way through the post…

Whenever we photo a groom in uniform I have a nagging desire to finish all of the photos in a vintage feel, like the one below. I don’t, because that would be strange…but boy do I want to!  Just a few from the ceremony cus this post is loooong…

  Family Wedding Photos! Love!

How’s about a little game of He Shot, She Shot? Just to demonstrate why its best to have a husband wife duo, such as ourselves, photoing your big day from more than one angle. Most of the day, we’re shooting different things, different goings-on. But at formal time, we shot the same stuff, from different angles with different ideas. Like so….

She shot:

He shot:  He shot:  She shot:  Another one? Sure.

He shot:

She shot:  Part way through their reception, Kristen and Matt told me that a family member had parked an excellent old car outside and that we could use it for photos. So we stole 15 minutes and went crazy…

Don’t forget to come see at the Gateway Bridal Show in Collinsville on Jan. 24th! We’ll be offering great savings on wedding and boudoir photography, so stop by and say hello!

We are still booking 2013 weddings (website calendar is up-to-date on availability) so if you’re getting married this year give us a shout! Booking for 2014 is also underway…it’s never to early for some things! Like champagne and booking a wedding photographer!
