St. Louis Boudior Marathon – Part 2

February 27, 2012

Hopefully you’ve already had a chance to check out Part 1 of the posts from the January Boudoir Marathon in St. Louis! And if you have, then I’m sure you’re ready for more! Lady 2 shall remain faceless. For any number of reasons its important to keep some boudoir client’s anonymous. But I must admit I cringe every time I have to crop someone’s stunning face out of a photo. I really think that with a lot the boudoir shots, the eyes and expression are really what make the photo, the lace and heels and cleavage are just icing on the cake. If you can believe such a thing. And with these in particular, let me tell you, you have no idea what you are missing!

But you’re going to love these faceless too. So here we go, the mysterious second lady…

Wowza, right?

I took a photo just like the one below last summer and it’s been used plenty on this blog for promotional purposes. Since then, it has become the most requested pose – and most talked about photo – ever. Honestly. I don’t think I’ve done a boudoir session since without this being requested. And I’m not sure I’ve spoke to a male human being since that hasn’t brought up the “thong photo.” But you know what they – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Thus, my most recent recreation of the “thong photo.” Girl did a legend proud. Why yes, I do encourage semi-nude women to stand in windows. Why do you ask? Love the barefoot look here – my favorite thing about boudoir is how different the feel or mood of the photos can be within the same session. If you’re having photos done as a wedding gift (or even anniversary gift) I highly recommend bringing your wedding veil!
