Still a Senior Sessions Now Booking

March 23, 2020

For the Class of 2020, May is not going to look like they planned. Prom, Senior sports nights and banquets and graduation are being wiped off calendars. I pride myself on having a pretty solid vocabulary but there’s only one thing to say about that…it sucks. Glad though we may be to sacrifice for the greater good and the friends and family we hold dear…it sucks.

I understand. I had a pretty busy May planned too and have erased nearly everything from my calendar over past couple of weeks.

I’ve given thought over the past week to how exactly a photographer, primarily a wedding photographer, can adapt to our current situation. I’m still trying to figure out how to perform a virtual photo session but I don’t have a lot of hope there. I can’t offer curbside pick up. What I do have to work with is space on my Spring calendar. May is generally too full of wedding events to entertain other types of sessions. But as I stare at my empty calendar and scratch my head, the Class of 2020 is figuring out how to celebrate their accomplishments and honor a major rite of passage.

So… Still a Senior Sessions are officially a thing!

These mini sessions will focus on senior portraits that capture the extra special parts of being a senior: Sports and Clubs, Prom, Graduation.

Still A Senior sessions can be booked as a stand-alone mini session, or as an add-on to our standard senior sessions (which focus on classic senior portraits).

Still A Senior Sessions will be available throughout the month of May with weekday and weekend availability. The absolute highest level of flexibility will apply to scheduling. If you schedule a session and a date for your virtual graduation, for example, is later announced, it will be no trouble to reschedule. To make sure rescheduling will be available as needed – I am strictly limiting the number of bookings and only scheduling these for May.

Here are the details:

Reach out soon to claim your spot! I’ll have room for approximately 6 Still a Senior sessions and a bit of room for full, standard senior sessions as well. Completing these sessions while practicing sound social distancing is absolutely possible. If stay-at-home orders are in place during your scheduled time, we will follow all directives and reschedule as necessary.

Spring is still coming. You’re still a senior. Let’s make sure you have more to remember this time by than quarantine selfies.
