The New Website! And where I’ve been the past few weeks
How’s that for taking a break from blogging? I practically fell off the blogging planet. But I promise it was with good reason!
I’ve been very, very busy. You see, Maggie Medema Photography got a big overhaul this Spring and as with all my projects, what starts as a small improvement morphs into a full remodel before I know it!

A full and official website dedicated to Maggie Medema Photography complete with a new and improved client proofing section! That means when you’ve had a photo session and it’s time to view the finished product you’ll access a beautiful, easy-to-use, password-protected gallery to scope out your photos, mull over which one makes you look the thinnest and ultimately place your order.
And you can now order from an expanded line of print options, albums and other products because if the websites going to be better, and the proofings going to be better, why not make the prints and the albums better too?
What’s better than getting the highest quality print or album possible? Getting it quickly! Shipping processes have changed and that means when you order photos you’ll get your photos fast!
There are other fun little changes too…but I’m not going to share them here. You’ll have to actually schedule a session if you want to be privy to alllll the fun!
This Saturday marks the first photo session of the season! Not a moment too soon either, my flowers and the hubs are tired of posing.
A few weekends back, I actually photographed hot dogs. No for real. Like I was so very ready to be out shooting again that I photographed some hot dogs.
Don’t be concerned it isn’t like I took my camera to Aldi and photographed the big box of hot dogs. We were camping, there was a fire and a hunky man roasting the hot dogs…it was begging to be photographed, captured in time and remembered forever. I’ll share the shot later so you can understand.
Anyway…Saturday marks session numero uno and with a second on Sunday, photo season is officially in full gear. Be sure to check back for sneak peaks!
Keep booking those sessions too. I’m happy to schedule waaay in advance if it makes your life easier!
Streator folks: Cus I love ya, I’ll be shooting holiday weekends in the Streator area and there are openings for Father’s Day weekend and Fourth of July weekend!

But wait, there’s more… I have a new chair. It’s exactly the opposite of Gladys. While Gladys is plush and curvy and orange the new chair is made of wood, curveless and purple. Because purple is the opposite of orange, apparently. Anyway, new chair needs a name!! Gladys and ??? Any suggestions?
